My name is Laurie Branch and I have practiced psychotherapy in Colorado for more than 22 years. I have been highly trained in psychotherapy and in effective ways of assisting people in their growth and healing.
I earned a Master's Degree in Pastoral Counseling from St. Thomas Seminary. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Addictions Counselor III. I am certified by the National Board of Counselors.
Additional training includes Level 1 and 2 EMDR, Phase 1 and 2 Brainspotting training and intensive study of Brainspotting under the direct supervision of founder, David Grand.
In my work with couples, I begin with The Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program. PREP teaches couples skills and techniques to communicate effectively, solve problems in a way that promotes teamwork, handle conflict constructively, and deepen commitment. We work to increase emotional safety and bonding in the relationship through PREP and other therapy techniques.
I am involved in Interface; a forum of therapists and clergy that meet to discuss and learn about spirituality.
Eden and I volunteer at a public elementary school in the Reading Education Assistance Dog program.
In partnership with my clients, I develop a strategic treatment plan to create the most healing benefit possible. This plan will give us a clear beginning, middle and end to the therapy. Together, we can create the life you want and deserve!
